eco funding
the energy companies obligation.
What is eco?
How does ECO work?
The ECO scheme works by placing ‘cost reduction obligations’ on the larger energy companies. These companies are obliged to pay the cost for any energy efficient home improvements installed for eligible households; in short, the energy companies pay the bill on your behalf.
A government scheme in Great Britain, designed to tackle fuel poverty and carbon emissions, regulated by Ofgem.
How do I apply?
Applying is quick and easy, simply complete our online form by selecting ‘Get Started’ at the top of this page. Alternatively you can give our team a quick call to get the ball rolling. If you would like some more information or have any questions before you get started, please get in touch.
How do I access free funding?
There are a few ways in which you can qualify for the scheme, details are provided below. The quickest route is a data-match; someone in your household must be in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits. We send your information to the DWP and receive a confirmation code in 2/3 days which gives us access to the funding. If you meet the requirements, you can also qualify with a la flex application from your local authority (council). Failing all of the above, if you are in receipt of a qualifying benefit, you can qualify by providing us with full copies of your benefit papers.
