If you have enquired about Loft Insulation or Cavity Wall Insulation, there is some information below regarding the next steps of the process:
· As long as you are a homeowner
· As long as your homes EPC is rated D, E, F or G
· and your Council Tax Band is a A, B, C or D
· And your EPC states the correct information (stating that you do in fact need the work completed)
Then your home should qualify for the insulation measure.
With insulation measures, once we have confirmed you and your home is eligible, the next step would be to get you booked in for an initial pre check visit. This is where an assessor will take a look inside your loft or your cavity walls so we can see what needs to be done. The assessor would also be able to see what ventilation you currently have in your home when he comes for the visit, which will give us an indication as to which rooms would require ventilation.
Before we can book you in for a ‘pre-check’ appointment, we will request that you send us photos of you loft space or your external walls. This is so we can determine that your home matches the information on your EPC. You can send these images via Whatsapp or attach them to an email, a member of our team will direct you on this when they call you.
